Welcome to the KoRo Christmas bakery! We baked our new biscuits with our carefully selected speculoos spice mix according to a Dutch recipe. What we can promise you: In the 400-gram valuee pack, you can expect a heavenly aroma and a really crunchy, spiced biscuit! The big question: spiced speculoos, almond speculoos or butter speculoos?

On the search for the best speculoos biscuit, we tried all shapes and flavours and ended up with the classic spiced speculoos. We simply can't live through Christmas without this all-time classic. Let's get to it: mix wheat flour, sugar and vegetable oils with our selected spices and taste (try not to eat the whole dough before baking the biscuits). If you want to go typical Dutch style, add some illustrations to the biscuit's faces and throw them in the oven.

What is the difference between spiced speculoos, butter speculoos and almond speculoos?

All three are delicious, but there are clear differences: Spiced Spekulatius is the classic Christmas cookie and is characterized by its classic spicing with cardamom, cloves and cinnamon. Butter Spekulatius usually gets by with much less spice, but contains a much larger ration of butter. Almond Spekulatius completes the trio with almond flour in the dough and slivered almonds on the underside of the cookie.

How do I store the vegan speculoos and how long does it keep?

The best place to store the speculoos is in a cool, dry place. Then it can be stored for at least 12 months directly after production.

Is the speculaas sugar-free?

We prove time and again that we are into sugar alternatives with bestsellers like our Chocolate Protein Crunchies or Chocolate Pretzels. However, our Spiced Spekulatius is not sugar-free. It is a classic Christmas snack made according to an original recipe.
