White vs brown almond butter

White or brown almond butter? There are two versions of our almond butter - white and brown. The big question: what is the difference? It is really pretty simple. For the brown version of almond butter, unpeeled almonds are roasted and processed into a creamy paste. This gives our brown almond butter a strong, nutty almond flavour. For the white almond butter, we use peeled, blanched almonds. This provides a slightly sweeter flavour. We really can't decide which of the two is more delicious, but one thing is certain: both are worth tasting and you can choose which one is your personal favorite!

This is probably due to a combination of large cultivation areas, easy mechanical harvest, and comparably low wages. Our almond cream consists of 100% almonds. Many conventional nut butters contain palm oil as a cheap ingredient to get a more spreadable result: bur almond puree does not need this, so that literally nothing except from almonds in the glass! No sugar, no salt, no flavourings or colourings, nor preservatives find their way into our white almond paste. And one thing is clear: the incredibly creamy texture of our nut puree does not suffer at all.
