Even in the Christmas season, nothing ends up in the garbage can with us!
Therefore, we hereby present our 2nd choice calendar. What exactly is it?
A great way to give surplus products a home this holiday season after all!
With our order of raw goods for your advent calendar also came a safety stock of raw goods and products. In plain English, this means that after we had filled all of the calendars, there were still products left over.
However, since these are adapted to the doors of an advent calendar, we could not simply sell them in our store. That's why we came up with the following:
2nd choice advent calendars!
Andwhat exactly do they look like? To explain, let's take you to a typical brainstorming session in our team:
We had products left over, but not 24 of each. So fewer doors? We couldn't come to terms with that.
The solution: A (for us non-mathematicians: highly complex) algorithm, developed by our Christmas helper Ansgar.
Meaning: This algorithm distributes the products to the doors in such a way that calendars with the highest possible number of different doors are created.
So if you buy one of these calendars, it means that you will get a product once or twice again. But who knows, maybe it's your favorite product and let's face it, who wouldn't want to be able to eat more of it?
So good idea, but we couldn't sit back yet. We still had products, but no more packaging box. What does the algorithm do?
Creates you a Christmas KoRo surprise box. Here, too, 24 products are packed together with as few duplicates as possible, just without doors. Just close your eyes and reach in!
We hope that, together with you, we can counteract waste and give you a great Advent calendar experience at the same time.
