Freeze-drying is a particularly gentle preservation process. The food is deep-frozen directly after harvesting and then placed in a vacuum container. A strong negative pressure is created in this until the water escapes from the food as water vapor within several hours. Freeze-dried products are therefore the concentrated form of the food. Due to this process, their ingredients remain almost unchanged and their color, aroma and taste are particularly intense.

Dried raspberries have a very aromatic taste, and they add a sweet and fruity touch to your porridge, yoghurt, or salad.

In 2018, around 870,000 tons of raspberries were harvested, led by the world's largest producer, Russia. Two varieties of raspberries exist, also called summer and autumn varieties, which are harvested between June and October. Raspberries are low in sugar and therefore in calories, and contain important vitamins and minerals. Since they should be consumed immediately after harvesting, there are now many products that make raspberries durable without loss of quality and additives.

A little too much chocolate / too little raspberry content

I find the ratio of chocolate to raspberry tending a bit too much towards chocolate. I have previously liked the chocolate raspberries from the local drugstore chain eaten, there you taste the raspberries more out. In comparison, these actually only taste like chocolate. But are still delicious!
