The green curry paste recipe varies from land to land and even from region to region. If you have ever been to an Asian supermarket, you will remember the overwhelming choice of curry pastes that you were faced with! Curry pastes come originally from Thailand – and ours do too –, and the red version is considered to be the "original" one. We have selected only top-quality ingredients for our green curry paste! The result is so convincing, that you will need nothing more than a teaspoon of it to add that incredible combination of fresh and spicy to your plate. Easy to use and versatile, our green curry paste will become your best ally in the kitchen: heat up the paste with some oil, mix it with coconut milk, then add your vegetables and tofu – voilà!, your delicious Thai-inspired curry is ready to be served with some freshly cooked Basmati rice. Not just spicy

In addition to its sharp and intensely spicy taste, our curry paste has also a fantastic ingredients list. Many curry pastes on the market use shrimp paste, but we have decided to do without it, and instead use soy paste - we wanted a 100 % plant-based product. This base of soy paste is refined with garlic, green chilli, shallots, lemongrass, galangal, turmeric, salt, and pepper, and the result is simply heavenly. Last but not least; our curry paste surprises you also with its nutritional values: with 9.9 g of fibre per 100 g, it is particularly high-fibre. KoRo's green curry paste guarantees you a wonderful oriental taste experience which you are going to want to repeat as soon as possible!

Many curry pastes on the market use shrimp paste as an ingredient. We have deliberately decided against this and replaced it with soy paste. This makes the curry paste purely vegetable and perfect for a vegan or vegetarian diet.
The green curry paste can be stored unopened for about a year. You can easily store it at room temperature, but once opened, the curry paste should better be stored in a cool place. If you do not cook curries so often, so best share with your loved ones.
Our green curry paste convinces with only 62 kcal per 100 g. Since you usually use only 1-2 tablespoons of the seasoning paste per curry, the calories are kept within limits anyway.
The green curry paste is fiery hot, which is why you only need to use a little of the paste in your curry creation. If you like it a little milder, you can alternatively reach for the yellow curry paste. Fun fact: Although you would expect it otherwise, the green curry paste is usually a little hotter than the red!

Tasty - but problems in shipping

The product is tasty but I was able to eat less than half of it because the product was not packaged properly and the glass was broken. Fortunately, the curry is very thick so some of it was saved and did not have glass shards in it. Perhaps the packaging or packaging methods need to be reviewed (this is not the first time something has come to me broken, it also happened with a glass Agave jar). I appreciate the use of a more easily recyclable material, but it is a shame if it then results in wasted food.
