Make summer drinks yourself

30 degrees, sunshine and relaxation in the park - what's missing? A refreshing, summery drink. Find out how to make your own summer drinks here.

Make summer drinks yourself

Summer, sun, smoothie

Especially in summer you can enjoy many great fruits fresh, such as cherries, strawberries or apricots. In late summer and autumn, the plum season begins. Apples and pears also experience their peak at about the same time. But even without fruit, you can let off steam to your heart's content in summer when preparing drinks.

Sparkling raspberry water

Simple, quick and 100% refreshing - raspberry water is super easy to prepare and keeps you cool on hot days. Simply pour ice-cold water, preferably carbonated, into a large carafe and mix with freeze-dried raspberries, fresh mint and a dash of lime. The freeze-dried fruits have a particularly intense flavor due to the gentle drying process, taste aromatic and all the valuable vitamins and minerals are retained. Of course, this recipe can also be modified as desired. Instead of freeze-dried raspberries, you can use freeze-dried strawberries or peaches, for example.

Fruity iced tea

Homemade iced tea is especially refreshing and tastes wonderfully light and fruity. Simply boil fruit tea and put it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. Then add ice cubes and a juice of your choice - especially good is tart cranberry juice or goji juice. For visual appeal, you can mix in some fresh or freeze-dried whole fruit.

Pomegranate Lemonade

For pomegranate lemonade, you only need a few ingredients. Mix cold sparkling water with a bit of lemon, sugar or an alternative sweetener source such as xylitol or erythritol and pour half with pomegranate juice.

Ginger lemon drink

If you like it spicy, you should definitely try this ginger lemon drink. To make it, mix ice-cold sparkling water with enough lemon juice and finely slice a thumb-sized ginger bulb and add it in. Mix about 100 ml of maple syrup with lemon juice well and add it as well, chill, enjoy!

Pineapple coconut avocado lassi

Pure exoticism, whole without vacation in the distance. First, finely puree freeze-dried pineapple and fresh flesh of a ripe avocado with a little cold water or crushed ice in a blender. Infuse with coconut milk - or if you want to go leaner - coconut water and season with ginger powder, lime and sugar. If you want to avoid sugar, you can use xylitol or erythritol instead.

Iced coffee or iced chocolate - low in calories

Iced coffee and iced chocolate taste particularly good on hot days, but they have a lot to offer. Of course, that's perfectly okay every now and then. However, if you still want to work on your bikini figure a bit, neither is necessarily ideal. For figure-friendly iced coffee: Simply brew coffee, pour on crushed ice or ice cubes, and sweeten to taste with a sugar alternative, such as xylitol or erythritol. For the cold chocolate drink, brew our chocolate coffee and mix it with crushed ice or ice cubes as well. For even more chocolate flavor, heat our chocolate drops with a little milk and add the mixture to the coffee. As a garnish, you can add a few of the chocolate drops on top.

Smoothie - the classic

Smoothies should not be missing in the list of refreshing summer drinks. Here, everything is allowed that tastes good. Freeze-dried fruits such as strawberries, raspberries, wild blueberries, cranberries, pineapple, banana or peach slices can be pureed in a blender or with a stick and infused with either water or coconut milk. Fruity variants taste better with water, while exotic drinks, such as a banana-pineapple smoothie, are especially delicious with coconut cream or coconut water.
