Vegan seitan vegetable stew

Stews are versatile soul warmers and know how to seduce us, especially in the cold season. The rich classics are not only warming, but also filling and usually uncomplicated to prepare. The vegan seitan vegetable stew offers you a delicious change to grandma's lentil stew.

Vegan seitan vegetable stew

Ingredients

  • 400 g seitan
  • 230 g chickpeas
  • 230 g beans
  • 1 leek
  • 350 g carrots
  • 100 g celery
  • 200 g kohlrabi
  • 2 onions
  • 2 clove of garlic
  • 10 g margarine
  • vegetable stock
  • Minced meat seasoning
  • soy sauce
  • Marjoram
  • Thyme

Preparation

Step 1

Drain and drain the seitan. Cut the onion into cubes and chop the garlic. Then dice the seitan and the rest of the vegetables, and cut the leek into rings. Drain and rinse the beans and chickpeas.

Step 2

Put margarine in a pot with onions and garlic and sauté. Then add seitan and sauté. Season with the minced meat seasoning and a little soy sauce.

Step 3

Now add the vegetables and sauté them briefly as well. Then add vegetable broth and simmer until the vegetables are cooked. Add the remaining ingredients, heat again briefly and ready.
