
Not all tofu is the same! Depending on how you prepare it, its consistency can vary greatly. With the help of this recipe, your tofu will definitely be crunchy.
Ingredients
- 200 g tofu
- 50 ml water
- 20 g spelt flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp paprika powder
- 2-3 tbsp coconut oil
- 30 g spelt flakes
Preparation
- First, mix water, spelt flour, salt and paprika powder in a shallow bowl until well combined. Then let the mixture rest briefly.
- Next, place the spelt flakes on a plate and heat the coconut oil in a pan.
- Cut the tofu into strips about 1 cm wide. Dip the strips first into the flour-water mixture and then into the spelt flakes.
- Fry the breaded tofu slices on both sides over medium heat.
