Attention all nut fans! Are you already piling up storage jars with all kinds of crunchy snacks in your kitchen? Whether it's tart walnuts , peanuts , sweet cashews , almonds or chocolate hazelnuts - you can't imagine a breakfast or a pastry without a nutty component? Who could understand this better than will! So that you never lack a choice, we now have the nut in our range that will make your aromatic variety perfect. Curtain up for the queen of nuts, the icing on the cake for your snack shelf: whole and natural macadamia kernels!

The queen of nuts

The delicious, crunchy fruits of the macadamia tree from the silver tree plant family originally come from the rainforests of Australia, where the indigenous people valued them as a tasty and nutritious nut. Today, macadamia nuts are grown not only in Australia, but also in Hawaii and South Africa. Macadamias are the world's most expensive nuts because the thick, dark brown shell can only be cracked open by a machine. It hides a soft, finely buttery core that will melt all nut fans.

Unique flavour of macadamia nut

As a small snack in between, the crunchy macadamias are a good alternative to conventional sweets. The mild kernels are also ideal as a crunchy component in muesli, as a topping for porridge and smoothie bowls and as an ingredient for spicy pesto. Due to their creamy and intensely aromatic taste, macadamias are also particularly good as an ingredient in cookies and as a decoration for cakes. With our unsalted nuts, you have the perfect basis to let your creativity run wild and try out lots of recipes with macadamia nuts. How about homemade macadamia ice cream made from caramelised macadamia nuts? By now your mouth will be watering - rightly so, it tastes just as delicious as it sounds!

Rich in unsaturated fatty acids

The macadamias have certainly already convinced you with their gentle almond-vanilla aroma. But what is in the delicious seeds? Macadamia nuts are an ideal source of energy, especially on an active day. The fats contained consist of 98% mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Polyunsaturated fatty acids help maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. With 6 g of fibre per 100 g, macadamias are also a high-fibre food. Fibre is an important part of a balanced diet. So you're not just doing something good for your taste buds!

Whole unsalted macadamia nuts

Our macadamia kernels are 100% natural and free from any additives. Only the best quality ensures the natural, full nut aroma. One thing is for sure: With our macadamia nuts you give your nut stock something royal! You can also buy macadamia mousse made from roasted macadamia kernels from us for the full load of nut enjoyment - at the latest you'll be sitting on the nut throne at the end!

Questions & answers: Macadamia nuts 500 g
To ensure that macadamia nuts have a long shelf life, ideally store them in a dark, dry place and in an airtight container.
Your baby may eat unsalted macadamia seeds with the intake of the first solid food, if they are finely ground and you dilute them strongly, for example with apple compote. Our macadamia is ideal for this purpose.
An average-sized macadamia has about 20 kcal. But hand on heart, you certainly won't be able to stop snacking after one nut - and that's not bad at all: a handful of macadamia nuts (10 - 12 kernels) has about 200 kcal.
Macadamia species grow perennially on trees with several trunks and reach heights of 6 to 18 meters. The trees bear fruit ready for harvest only after seven to ten years and yield up to 50 kg. The harvest time is between March and September. The macadamia nuts are cracked after harvest, packed and delivered to you.
Macadamia nuts contain virtually no histamine and are considered very well tolerated.
The reason for this is the origin. Our non-bio macadamia seeds come from Australia. That means once around half the globe before they arrive in our store. We source our organic macadamia seeds from Kenya. We chose the macadamia seeds from Australia because of their taste - even though they are more expensive compared to other growing countries.
Our macadamia nuts contain 11.2 g of protein per 100 g of nuts.
Under no circumstances should your dog eat macadamia nuts, as they are poisonous to him. If your dog has plundered your supply of macadamia nuts, you should immediately take him to the vet.

Due to their difficult cultivation, complicated processing, and ever-growing demand, the fine and buttery macadamia nuts are among the most expensive nuts in the world. Originally from Australia, macadamias are now grown in other areas. Australia, South Africa and Hawaii are considered the largest producers. In 2018, 211,000 tons of macadamias were cultivated worldwide.
