What are the vegan shreds made of?

Before you eat them, heat them up or fry them briefly in a pan. Afterwards, there are no limits to your creativity: recipes in which you can integrate the soy shreds are a dime a dozen. For example, how about as a spicy salad topping, as a substitute for minced meat in Mexican wraps, or as a texture-imparting curry ingredient?
