What is the shelf life of KoRo coconut milk?

Contrary to what you might think, our coconut milk is not a sun worshipper. To optimize the shelf life of the aromatic coconut milk, you should store the unopened can protected from light, at ambient temperature. Once opened, it is best to store the unused remainder of the coconut milk in another sealable container in the refrigerator and use it up as soon as possible. A foul odor, tinny taste and/or a grayish discoloration are indicators that the coconut milk has expired or is no longer good. The minimum shelf life is 24 months from the date of production in the original sealed package.

Can you freeze coconut milk?

In principle, you can freeze our coconut milk. You can portion it wonderfully in ice cube containers and store it in the freezer.

Can my baby eat/drink coconut milk?

In principle, we do not see any problem with this. However, you should always seek the advice of your pediatrician before giving your baby coconut milk to eat/drink.

Is KoRo organic coconut extract coconut milk vegan?

Clear! Our creamy and aromatic coconut milk is purely vegetable. Therefore, you can also integrate it perfectly in vegetarian or vegan dishes.

Can I make my own ice cream with KoRo coconut milk?

Mmmmhh - nothing beats a creamy coconut ice cream for the perfect vacation feeling. From our organic coconut milk you can conjure up wonderfully refreshing ice cream with coconut flavor - and without an ice cream maker! From 1 can of coconut milk, 1/2 tablespoon of light almond paste, 5 ice cubes, 1/4 teaspoon of bourbon vanilla powder and a pinch of salt, you can conjure up a tropically delicious ice cream in no time. Simply leave the coconut milk in the can in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, scrape the hardened cream out of the can and mix it with the other ingredients. Et voilà: the coconut ice cream is ready!

Does KoRo organic coconut milk contain sugar?

Our coconut milk is unsweetened and naturally has a sugar content of 2 g per 100 ml of coconut milk. The natural taste of aromatic coconut milk comes completely without added sugar.

Can I use KoRo coconut milk during pregnancy?

In principle, we see no problem in our coconut milk being consumed during pregnancy, as long as this is done in normal quantities. However, it is best to seek the advice of your gynecologist before use.
