But why have we crushed these seeds? When crushed, some flax oil escapes from the small seeds and your body can use the seeds a little better. Of course, you can also simply crush whole flax seeds yourself, but we wanted to make it as convenient as possible for you. Flax seeds also swell a little better when crushed. It is best to soak them for a while before consuming them and mixing them into yogurt, quark, porridge or smoothies and enjoying their amazing swelling capacities.

Are KoRo's ground flax seeds vegan?

Yes! Flaxseeds are purely vegetable. Since our ground flaxseeds have not been contaminated with any animal products during production, they are vegan and perfectly suitable for a vegetarian or vegan diet.

How do I store the ground organic flax seeds from KoRo?

To maximize the shelf life of your flax seeds, you should store them in a cool and dry place. The minimum shelf life in the original sealed packaging is 6 months from the date of production.

What dosage of ground flaxseed is recommended?

The recommended dosage is individual and the maximum intake can vary greatly depending on your size and weight. We recommend that you do not exceed a daily amount of our delicious flax seeds of 45 g (distributed throughout the day).

Can my dog/horse/cat/rabbit eat KoRo's ground flaxseeds?

It's best to seek the advice of your veterinarian before feeding your beloved four-legged friends the seeds. To be on the safe side, we recommend that you take a look at our grain-free premium dry dog food refined with linseed.
