What is lupin coffee and how is it made?

Our organic lupin coffee is made from 100% lupins – legumes that are grown regionally by organic farmers in Germany. After harvesting, the lupins are gently roasted for a coffee alternative that tastes both strong and nutty; its full-bodied taste is in no way inferior to classic coffee and is simply perfect if matched with your favourite plant-based drink!

How can I use this lupin coffee?

Nothing easier! You can use your whole lupin beans just like conventional coffee beans – in your French press or filter coffee maker. For a cup you need 1-2 full teaspoons of ground lupin coffee.

Is lupin coffee vegan?

Absolutely! Being made from lupin, a legume, it is therefore purely plant-based. Our organic whole bean lupin coffee is 100% roasted lupine beans, with no other ingredients.
