We're having porridge all day long these days! KoRo's secret kitchen has been putting together a porridge recipe that we could enjoy every day. The result: a nutty mixture, including sprouted buckwheat, sprouted oats and sunflower seeds, mixed with some almonds and chia seeds. And because we love a fruity component in our porridge, we've rounded the whole thing off with some strawberry powder, dates and some coconut blossom sugar. Buy our strawberry porridge now!

Cooking porridge – it could not be easier

To make a delicious porridge bowl, simply mix our porridge mix with water, milk or a delicious plant-based milk alternative and bring to a boil. If you want to make a super quick porridge, the microwave will do a great job in 2-3 minutes! We recommend mixing at least two parts liquid with one part porridge. If you like it more liquid, add a little more milk or water. And you're done! You can eat your incredibly delicious porridge for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is even suitable to prepare in advance, because you can also eat the porridge cold.

Vegan porridge with berries

After cooking up the porridge, you can still add toppings. We love a fruity apple and cinnamon topping, or some banana slices. You like it chocolaty? Add some chocolate drops with xylitol and a spoonful of our date and hazelnut cream to the bowl. What is special about sprouted organic porridge strawberry?

Many sprouted mueslis and porridge varieties taste quite bitter due to the sprouting. Not so with our version: With fruity strawberry powder, juicy date pieces and sweet coconut blossom sugar, you can still enjoy a super tasty sprouted porridge for breakfast. Always with you: a concentrated load of fiber, so that you are well supplied. Is the porridge gluten-free?

Our sprouted porridge contains only ingredients that naturally do not contain gluten. Nevertheless, depending on the growing area, there may be unknowing contamination with gluten-containing grains during harvesting or processing. We therefore do not advertise our organic porridge strawberry as gluten-free.

How many grams are a serving of porridge?

We don't believe in fixed portion sizes, but encourage you to listen to your own hunger pangs! Depending on your size, metabolism and activity level you have different amounts of hunger. As a guide, we usually give a frame of 40 to 70 grams of our organic porridge.

Is porridge good for weight loss?

As a rule, a calorie deficit or calorie surplus determines your weight change. So as long as you stay within your self-imposed goals, you can also integrate our porridge well into a balanced diet, regardless of whether your goal is to lose or gain weight. In case of major changes in your eating habits, we always recommend that you consult a nutritionist.

Is the porridge vegan?

Absolutely, with us it's: vegan porridge all day long! In our recipe there is only room for selected, plant-based ingredients. That's why our porridge is definitely vegan!

Can I prepare the porridge with water or with milk?

Both and! Depending on your preference and availability, you can boil the sprouted fruit porridge with water or milk/vegetable drink. So it's not a problem if you run out of milk and need to make the gruel without milk. In both cases you use about the ratio of 2 parts water/milk and one part porridge.

Is the porridge suitable for babies?

Although we have a lot of food expertise, we would not necessarily consider babies to be one of our specialties. Therefore, we ask you to clarify these questions with your pediatrician.

How many calories have porridge?

Our organic porridge contains 403 calories per 100 grams of porridge. All details can be found as usual in the nutritional table next to or below the product description.

Can I eat porridge during pregnancy?

Every pregnancy is individual. Therefore, we do not want to make a general judgment here. In this case, please contact your gynecologist.

Is the porridge without sugar?

No, the porridge is not sugar-free. However, it does not contain added refined sugar, if that's what you mean. We sweeten with coconut blossom sugar instead, which tastes at least as good!

Is the porridge healthy?

Healthy or unhealthy is ultimately determined by a balanced diet. Therefore, we do not want to divide food strictly into "healthy" or "unhealthy". As always: 'Balance is key'! Our sprouted oatmeal scores with its high fiber content and as a quick and delicious breakfast.

Can I eat the porridge without cooking or prepare it in the microwave?

Both is possible: You can prepare your porridge as "Overnight Oats" by letting it swell with milk overnight in the refrigerator. Or you can microwave it for two to three minutes mixed with milk or water. Both options work great and taste pretty delicious.

Delicious grainy, a little less sweet please!!!

I prepared the first serving this morning. I like the crunchy of buckwheat and also the overall grainy consistency. Only criticism: it could definitely be significantly LESS sweet.

Successful porridge

I was at first rather skeptical, because the price is comparatively high. But the porridge tastes very delicious. Even my children have already tried it. The fruity note is very pleasant and the ingredients are very healthy.
