Healthy is above all a wholesome and balanced diet. Our organic hummus powder is a vegetable protein source with 23 g of protein per 100 g and is also rich in fiber (18 g/100 g). Just like many other foods, our hummus powder can be integrated into everyday life as part of a varied diet. All information about the nutritional values can be found as usual on the product and next to or under the product on our website.
Naturally! For our hummus powder, we use only purely vegetable ingredients, which are also from organic farming. So if you're on a vegetarian or vegan diet, hummus is always a good choice. But who are we telling: hummus has long been the go-to dip of the vegan scene.
Our hummus powder consists of Chickpea flour, sesame flour, garlic powder and cumin - nothing more. Since Tahin is also just sesame flour with a little water, the only thing missing from our hummus mixture is olive oil and a little lemon juice to match the original recipe. So feel free to add these two components when mixing. But even without them, the aromatic and fresh taste is not lacking.
It's simple: Everybody has left bought hummus in the fridge for a little too long, so that the actual delicacy became inedible. With our powder, this waste is a thing of the past. After all, it can be stored in powder form for at least 12 months and allows you to mix your hummus fresh and according to your personal needs. Of course, without the aromatic-fresh taste comes too short.
In powder form, our hummus mixture can be stored for at least 12 months. To keep the powder edible for as long as possible, you should store it away from light, in a cool and dry place. Once the powder is mixed, you should store any leftovers in the refrigerator and use them up within the next 2-3 days. But that should be the least of your problems, right?
The question should rather be what you can't use hummus for. Usually hummus is served with some olive oil and bread. But you can use hummus just as well as a spread for breakfast or as a dip for vegetables, chips and co. Even for cooking hearty dishes the creamy dip is always welcome. And if you feel like something sweet for a change, just try our sweet hummus with cocoa or vanilla out. Delicious!
It's very simple: For one serving, simply mix 50 g of the powder with 60-65 ml of water to a homogeneous mass - and the hummus is ready. If you want to cook according to the original recipe, add a little olive oil and a squeeze of lemon juice. Of course, you can also get creative and try out your own hummus variations. How about for example with some beet, pumpkin or wild garlic? Or maybe even with something sweet with cocoa and honey, leaning on our sweet hummus with cocoa?
