Vegan almond cream sauce with mushrooms

Cream sauce with mushrooms is a real classic. Especially now in autumn, a delicious hearty dish like this is just right. We show you how to prepare this traditional dish vegan.

Vegan almond cream sauce with mushrooms

Ingredients (for 1 serving):


First, slice the mushrooms, peel and finely dice the onion. Sauté both in a pan with a little water or oil for a few minutes. Mix vegetable broth with almond paste and add to the mushrooms. Stir in garlic powder, yeast flakes and tamari and let the sauce simmer for about 5-10 minutes, adding more almond paste if necessary if it is still too liquid. Chop the fresh parsley and add to the sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
