But keep in mind that not all protein bars are created equal! For many of you, KoRo means nuts. Therefore, we could have never imagined a snack selection without some delicious and high-quality nut-based bars! Our nutcrackers are a wonderful companion for your coffee breaks, while one of our nut butter bars are a great, healthy alternative to high-sugar and processed desserts. As with the majority of our products, we avoid additives and refined sugars, and try our best to keep the ingredient lists as short and high-quality as possible.
What is the difference between these two types of nut bars? Simple: our nut butter bars are based on dates and nut butters like peanut and hazelnut cream, and are therefore soft and juicy, while the nutcrackers consist of roughly chopped nuts held together by a but of rice and agave syrup. And last but not least, we have something for the nut lovers who are unfortunately allergic – our tahini bar! 100 % nutty taste with 0 % nuts!

Can I make bars at home?
Sure, in principle you don't have to do anything else than what we do: take your favourite ingredients, chop them up and mix them together, and shape them into bars. The easiest way is to choose a sugar alternative and add crushed nuts, and voilà! – you have already created your own raw bar. Nonetheless, we have taken over every work step for you so that you can save your energies and kitchen, and just enjoy the delicious results!
Are KoRo’s bars vegan?
Except for our protein bars Max and Moritz, all our bars – coconut and dark chocolate, the nutcrackers, the nut butter bars, the raw ones, and our vegan hazelnut protein bar – are vegan.
What is the protein percentage of the protein bars?
Our vegan protein bar with organic hazelnut has 25 grams of protein per 100, which means 15 grams per bar, while the non-vegan ones have about 19 grams of protein per piece each.
Are these bars sugar-free?
