How is instant coffee made?

If you are asking yourself how did coffee beans become instant coffee, well we have, of course, the answer for you: instant coffee is made from freshly roasted coffee beans through a special manufacturing process. First, the beans are roasted at around 200 to 230 degrees, similar to how classic coffee is made; the roasted beans are then ground into coffee powder. The next step is the extraction: for this purpose, the coffee powder is extracted with hot water and a concentrate is produced. This step is similar to making bean coffee, but to make instant coffee, the water must be removed from the concentrate. We use gentle freeze-drying to ensure that the aromas in the coffee are preserved. This means that our organic instant coffee has a balanced taste with a fruity-sweet note.
