Can I eat the marzipan potatoes during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Unfortunately not. The production of marzipan often requires a little alcohol, such as rose water. Although our fine marzipan potatoes contain only very small amounts, you should still rather do without it during pregnancy. Alternatively, we recommend that you simply make your own marzipan potatoes from our Marzipan with walnuts walnuts. This is free of alcohol and can therefore be enjoyed without hesitation.

Can I make marzipan potatoes myself?

All you really need are almonds, sugar, a little rose water and bitter almond oil. If that's too much effort for you, you can also simply use our Marzipan without added sugar or Marzipan with walnuts fall back. This must then simply rolled out, shaped and for even better taste with cocoa powder powdered.

How do I store marzipan?

Marzipan should be stored in a dry and cool place. After opening the package, marzipan can be stored in the refrigerator. In this case, it becomes harder and must be kneaded warm before use. To extend the shelf life, you can also freeze marzipan.
