In addition to these treats, you can find many many more nut butters in our shop.
Nut butters in large jars
As you know, you can buy food from KoRo in large and efficient bulk packs. Most of our nut butters, such as our Walnussmus, come to you in large 500 gram jars. That way you can enjoy them for a long time! And if you prefer to bathe in nut butter, you can order our nut butter buckets, with which you get 5 kg at a time!
Creamy, creamier, nut butters!
Our nut butters have a particularly creamy consistency. However, it can happen that the nut's own oil settles in the top of the jar. It is precisely this oil that acts as a protective layer and ensures that your nut butter will keep for a long time. By simply stirring the oil back in, the nut butter returns to its original creamy consistency and is ready for you to enjoy.

Our bestseller: KoRo's organic date and hazelnut spread
Our organic date and hazelnut spread is definitely out of the ordinary in our nut spread range, as it deviates from the typical 100% nut policy. Nevertheless, we probably don't need to say much more about what is perhaps the best sweet spread in the world: it consists of only three ingredients, namely dates, hazelnuts and cocoa – sounds simple, tastes incredible. No refined sugar is added to the cream; the dates provide the natural sweetness.

All your questions about nut butters
We would like to give you all the information you need about our nut butters. If you have any questions about a specific product, please check the product specification. If you don't find what you are looking for there, please contact us by email or on social media and we will clarify all your questions.
How are nut butters produced?
First of all, we roast the nuts. This gives our nut butters a particularly fine aroma. When the nuts have cooled down, they are ground. To make nut butter, you need powerful machines or blenders that get the nuts so small that the nut oil can escape. This ensures the irresistible consistency! The creamy nut butter is filled into large jars so that you can enjoy it for a long time. Of course, you can also make nut butter yourself, but we recommend that you make yourself comfortable and leave the work to us!
Are nut butters healthy?
As a matter of principle, we refrain from categorising food as "healthy" or "unhealthy". Our nut butters come without additives such as refined sugar or artificial preservatives and are usually made from 100% nuts. If you eat a balanced and varied diet, you can safely add one to two spoonfuls of nut butter per day to your food.
Can I make my own but butter?
Yes! You simply need 3 things: nuts of your choice, a powerful mixer and a lot of patience. Since it takes some time for the oil of the nuts to emerge during the blending process and to form a creamy paste, you should make sure that your blender does not overheat and take short breaks if necessary. We have already done all the work for you and we have many different types of nut butters in our shop, instead of goin through all this, simply order your nut butter in a few clicks, we deliver it to your front door!
Do the nut butters contain sugar?
Our pure nut butters made from 100% nuts have no added sugar and only contain the naturally occurring sugar of the nuts. We think that nut butters taste best unsweetened and therefore do not contain added refined sugar. Our date and hazelnut spread is, as the name indicates, sweetened with dates. Our sweet tahini with cocoa and tahini with coconut, as well as the hazelnut and cocoa peanut butter are the only products in this category which contain added sugar.
How many calories do nut butters contain?
Are nut butters vegan?
Yes, all nut butters from KoRo are vegan. You can find all ingredients on the label or on the product page in our online shop.
How should I store my nut butter?
You can easily store nut butters at room temperature in the store cupboard, even if they have already been opened. Of course, you can also store it in the fridge, but the consistency will be firmer and less creamy. Always make sure that you take your nut butter with a clean spoon, in order to not let anything else mix into your nut butter jar.
Note: You should never pour off the oil that settles on the top - it acts as a protective layer and ensures that your nut puree will keep for a long time. Before eating, simply give it a good stir and the nut puree will have the creamy consistency we all love.
Do nut butters contain a lot of protein?
Many nut butters are sources of protein: our peanut butter, for example, contains 26 grams of protein per 100 grams of products, our brown almond butter has 27 grams of protein. Our nut butters are the perfect topping for your muesli or your protein bowls!
