What is the shelf life of ginger in dark chocolate?

Unopened, the delicious snack can be stored for at least 12 months. For this you should store the small balls best in a cool and dry place.

How is the ginger snack made?

To produce dried ginger, the rhizomes are not harvested 2-3 months after planting, as is the case with fresh ginger, but 9-10 months after planting. Then they are mature and have an increased pungency. To reduce this again somewhat, the fresh ginger is boiled down in fructose and then gently air-dried. Finally, finish with a little dark chocolate - and the ultimate snack is ready!
